Wealth Management Advisor Join to apply for the Wealth Management Advisor role at Desjardins. Responsibilities As a wealth management advisor, you’ll develop and maintain lasting and trusting business relationships with members and clients, ensuring they are satisfied. Your role includes listening to members’ and clients’ needs, offering advice that fits their financial situation, and helping them choose appropriate solutions to meet their financial goals. You will work closely with affluent individual members and business owners, leveraging interpersonal savvy to drive results by developing strategies and recommending investments, loans, and insurance products. You will serve as an expert advisor in savings and investments, balancing member/client satisfaction, business objectives, profitability and risk management, and collaborate with partners and experts to design integrated strategies. Advise members and clients on the best strategies and work with them to identify expected results. Manage business relationships, assess member/client satisfaction and service quality, follow up and identify areas for improvement. Stay up-to-date on the financial services industry, market trends and best practices in your field. Participate in outreach activities and represent the caisse in the community. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field Minimum of two years of relevant experience (other combinations may be considered) Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers Knowledge of French is required A solid understanding of current financial, economic, political and legislative events Ability to analyze individual markets, business leaders and the caisse's external environment Specialized knowledge of tax, financial, and succession issues for individuals and businesses Knowledge of all products and services offered to caisse members, Desjardins Business Centres, Desjardins components and distribution networks, and competitors Knowledge of debt management Compliance knowledge with legislation on distribution of financial products and services Understanding of the philosophy and fundamentals of financial services cooperatives Knowledge of policies, legislation and standards related to products and services offered by the caisse Knowledge of the Desjardins business processes and service standards What we offer Competitive salary and annual bonus 4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year Defined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirement Group insurance including telemedicine Reimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment Benefits apply based on eligibility criteria Trade Union (If applicable) At Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity and inclusion.
