Why consider this job opportunity Salary up to $171,500 for candidates located in NYC or SF Comprehensive benefits package, including 100% medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage Flexible PTO and wellness stipends to support work-life balance Opportunity for career advancement and growth within a fast‑paced startup environment Mentorship opportunities to elevate decision quality and execution Chance to innovate on risk decisioning systems and policies while providing excellent customer experience What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) Develop and execute Ramp’s risk underwriting policy for onboarding new businesses to the platform Build and maintain monitoring dashboards for underwriting outcomes and processes Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance risk tooling for operational efficiency Research emerging trends in underwriting and fraud to improve decisioning systems Manage customer support requests effectively while balancing credit and fraud risk What is Required (Qualifications) Minimum 5+ years of experience in Underwriting, Credit Risk Management, or Fraud Risk Management Experience in consumer/corporate/small business cards, payments, invoices, lending, or related industries Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong background in customer support via email BA/BS from an accredited university How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Experience in high‑growth startups Experience building complex financial products Knowledge of SQL or Python Strong background in customer support via phone We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal‑opportunity employment.
