This role will suit a professional with a proven track record of exceptional communication and technical skills looking for an opportunity to travel and work from India. The CRC Senior Manager will provide direct support and guidance to offshore and onshore teams so that Canadian audit engagement teams can effectively leverage the CRC Data & Analytics Center of Excellence on their audits.What You Will DoOperationsOversee day-to-day operations of the CRC D&A Center of Excellence in collaboration with other members of the CRC national management team and the CDST team.Provide direct support to audit engagement teams so they can effectively leverage the CRC D&A Center of Excellence on their engagements.Oversee the Quality (QMCI) team at the CRC in India by identifying areas for quality improvement and overseeing the implementation of solutions to ensure the highest audit quality and deliverables.Prepare training materials, how-to guides, monthly/quarterly newsletters, and other guidance documents for the internal CRC portal.Leverage firm processes and programs to ensure active support of the business.Data & AnalyticsIdentify potential new services, offerings, and tools to enhance the experience of audit engagement teams using the CRC.Perform annual budgeting, forecasting and hours/FTE modelling using various data analytic programs.Participate in business development by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposal development.Work closely with other members of the onshore national CRC team, CDST team, and offshore management team to ensure sufficient fulfiller licensing and restrict access to security groups.Review and approve requests for access to standard software and technology tools used by offshore delivery team members (e.g., Visio Pro, Alteryx, PowerBI).OtherExpected to be a performance manager to more junior team members.Willingness to travel internationally and ability to obtain requisite business traveler visa/work permits for India.The successful candidate may be required to create, interpret and/or apply policies, practices, laws and/or regulations during the regular course of employment.The successful candidate may need to start their day earlier or work later than normal office hours to allow for sufficient overlap with the offshore management team.At times, business needs arise, and employees are required to work beyond their normal workday or work week to fulfill accountabilities. The organization provides flexibility to accommodate personal matters.What You Bring To The RoleCanadian CPA designation or international equivalent.8+ years of experience with a public practice accounting firm, with at least 5 years in a management role.Senior manager or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience with KPMG Canada.Minimum 5 years auditing and team management experience.Diploma or bachelor’s in computer science, Database Management or Programming (or equivalent experience).Proficiency with databases including SQL, MySQL, Oracle; assets.Analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Python, R, Alteryx, Microsoft PowerApps/Power Automate.Knowledge of ServiceNow is an asset.Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills.Strong technical audit skills and varied audit experience.Proven time management and organizational skills.Knowledge of data extraction tools and utilities.Bi-lingual in French and English is an asset.Superior written and verbal communication skills in English are required.Experience facilitating Audit Foundations courses (or similar) is an asset.Strong ability to oversee and manage multiple projects concurrently.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle conflicting priorities.Thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment.Values innovative thinking and looks for ways to improve processes.Demonstrated mentoring and performance management skills.Ability to work independently with ownership of tasks and responsibilities.Innovative mindset and the ability to assess current processes and suggest improvements.Comfortable working in both virtual and in-person environments.Advanced skills with MS Office and Adobe products (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Forms, MS Teams, Outlook).Proficiency in English (written and spoken).Additional InformationThe position requires English fluency and the candidate will support KPMG employees nationally and communicate with English-speaking colleagues. The individual will create documentation and share guidance in English-speaking provinces.KPMG BC Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $86,000 to $150,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The base salary within this range is based on location, skills, competencies, and qualifications.
