p>LeverageTek is actively seeking a Front-End Developer (CSS & JavaScript Specialist) for a 12-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location:
Remote

Key Tasks:

  1. Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  2. Optimize existing project CSS library and develop a new library for new projects.
  3. Implement interactive features and dynamic content using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
  4. Collaborate with designers to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX design.
  5. Maintain code quality and ensure code is reusable, scalable, and well-documented.

As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for translating the client’s design wireframes into high-quality code and implementing visual and interactive elements in web applications. You will work closely with our clients and development team to ensure seamless integration and a cohesive user experience.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Proven work experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role (5-10 years’ experience).
  2. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  3. Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
  4. A portfolio of previous projects demonstrating front-end skills.

Additional Qualifications:

  1. Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  2. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., li>

Assets:

  1. Knowledge of AngularJS.
  2. Knowledge of TypeScript.
  3. Experience with UX/UI design principles.
