Location and About NHH Located approximately 100 kilometres east of Toronto, NHH delivers acute, post‑acute, outpatient and diagnostic services. It is an active member of Ontario Health and serves a mixed urban and rural population of about 67,000 residents. Role Overview Reporting to the MR Charge Technologist, the MR Technologist performs routine and advanced MR examinations, including interventional procedures, and makes independent decisions during work. Qualifications / Requirements Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario as a Magnetic Resonance Technologist (MR) in good standing. Previous MR experience in a hospital environment. Recent EPIC Radiant Module experience. Recent GE Centricity PACS experience. Proven good attendance record. Physical Effort and Working Conditions Standing, sitting, walking for prolonged periods. Use of computer systems such as Nuclear Medicine control console, HIS, RIS, PACS. Viewing computer monitors for extended periods. Use of office equipment, computers, telephones, fax machines and other electronic equipment. Responds professionally to high‑stress and emergency situations. Assists patients transferring to and from MR tables. Moves and transports hospital equipment. Employment Requirements Successful applicants must provide a satisfactory vulnerable sector criminal reference check completed less than one year from hire within 60 days. They also must complete the Health Care Worker Health review process, including up‑to‑date immunization records, within 30 days. NHH has a mandatory COVID‑19 vaccination policy.
