Are you a dynamic product manager with a passion for impacting small businesses? Then Jobber might be the place for you We’re looking for a Product Manager II to be part of our Automations team. Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber, they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience in leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers. The team: The Automations team owns Jobber’s automation platform – a powerful, rules‑based system that helps customers automate repetitive tasks like sending invoice reminders or routing new quote requests. While the foundation is in place, we’re just getting started: we’re scaling the system to handle millions of actions, expanding its capabilities, and working closely with other AI teams to unlock smarter, more intuitive workflows. If you’re excited by the challenge of building reliable, high‑scale systems and love turning complex logic into simple, empowering experiences for users, Automations is the team for you The role: Reporting to the Director, Product Management, the Product Manager will take product leadership of our Automations team, empowering small businesses to get more done, better manage their clients, and get paid faster, while considering how AI can play a role in your work. You will shape the vision and strategy for this area in the spirit of helping customers do more with less manual work. Ultimately, your work will help create a new future for our customers by understanding their distinct challenges and crafting intelligent automation solutions. This role works closely with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership to deliver impactful automation experiences for our fast‑growing market. The Product Manager will: Build a deep understanding of our customers: service providers consisting of home service businesses (such as plumbing companies, landscapers, electricians etc.) spread across industries, locations, and sizes. Define and build Jobber’s Automation Strategy that maps how automation will make a meaningful impact in the lives of our customers and fits into the company’s broader product and business goals. Set the Automations roadmap and ruthlessly prioritize to bring the Automations Vision to life. Balance quick wins (templates, small feature upgrades) with long‑term strategic bets. Leverage AI to create dynamic and personalized experiences for our customers. Partner closely with other teams and departments across the company (e.g., Sales, Success, Product Marketing, other product teams, and more) to launch and scale new ideas. Define and monitor key product and success metrics across discovery, adoption, revenue, churn, and engagement to track the success of your bets, stepping in when things are not tracking with business goals. To be successful, you should have: Experience as a product manager or product owner in a SAAS environment, with a focus on automations, workflows, or AI products. Ability to distill complex workflows and customer needs into easy‑to‑digest solutions. Experience with cross‑functional collaboration (e.g., engineering, design, marketing) to define and deliver complex products. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and customer feedback to inform decisions and optimize product features. Ability to independently drive initiatives, manage multiple priorities, and operate with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating with senior leadership for alignment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate vision, goals, progress, and results to various stakeholders. Strong understanding of user experience principles, particularly concerning workflows, automations, and AI‑driven products. Self‑motivated and autonomous, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity. It would be really great (but not a deal‑breaker) if you had: Previous Automations or AI product experience.
