Staff Psychiatrist (Remote) Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Position: Experienced Psychiatrist (MD or DO) – Independent contractor Pay: $130–$150 per hour Location: Remote Duration: 6 weeks Commitment: 20+ hours per week Role Responsibilities Contribute clinical expertise to the design and evaluation of AI medical outputs. Review AI‑generated medical case studies, diagnoses, and workflows for accuracy and alignment with medical standards. Provide structured feedback on clarity, safety, and medical rigor to enhance AI model performance. Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers to refine model performance and outputs. Work independently and asynchronously with flexible hours to meet project deadlines. Qualifications 2+ years of clinical practice experience in the United States. Experience in psychiatry. MD or DO from a reputable medical school. Excellent attention to detail and written communication. Location: Candidates must be in the US, UK, Canada, or Australia. Start Date Immediate Compensation & Legal Competitive hourly rate based on experience. Top performers receive weekly bonus incentives of $30 per hour. Daily payment via Stripe Connect.
