The role of NDE / Quality Specialist reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. Liburdi Turbine Services offers competitive wages. The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and improve NDE / Quality System elements to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirementsDevelop, implement and support NDE processes (FPI and DR)Assess and approve internal specifications and documentationSupport and monitor calibration, metrology and inspection activities related to including NDEDevelop and deliver instructional material on NDE and quality related subject materialSupport the continued maintenance and implementation of NDE elements of ISO 9001, AS9100, Transport Canada Authorized Maintenance Organization Quality Management Systems, and Nadcap programsParticipate in the design review and engineering change notice processSupport Nonconforming Material, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action processes engaging multi-disciplined teamsPerform internal audits and support external auditsPerform measurement systems and statistical analyses related to NDEContinually seek and develop quality process and continuous improvement opportunitiesKey Skill RequirementsAbility to understand, interpret and communicate NDE and Quality technical specificationsAdvanced capabilities with data collection, analysis and reportingExcellent organizational, interpersonal and oral / written communication skillsAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailGood time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesAptitude to positively interact with all organization functional areas and levels to achieve collaboration with quality activitiesKey Experience / EducationUniversity Degree or College Diploma in Engineering / Quality Assurance Field is requiredDemonstrated background and qualification in NDE (FPI, DR)Minimum 5 years experience in an ISO 9001 / AS9100 manufacturing or processing environment or AMO is requiredProficient with Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint is requiredDemonstrated experience with Nadcap and Transport Canada programs is an assetApplication InformationThis role is full-time.This job posting is for an existing vacancy.Interested candidates are encouraged to forward their resume (with the position reference number in the subject line) to: resume@liburdi.com.
