We’re looking for a hands‑on, ADP‑proficient HR Manager to build and manage a full HR function for a growing organization with ~200 employees across Edmonton and Calgary. This full‑time onsite role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments. You’ll take charge of HR from the ground up, implementing ADP processes and leading full‑cycle recruitment, retention, and structure. What You’ll Do Lead and manage all day‑to‑day HR operations. Build HR processes, policies, and tools from scratch. Own ADP setup, optimisation, and ongoing use. Handle employee relations, investigations, and coaching. Lead high‑volume seasonal recruitment and onboarding. Build relationships with trade schools. Support compensation, benefits, and policy administration. Develop retention strategies and drive engagement. Work closely with leaders to support workforce planning. Occasionally travel to Calgary as needed. What We’re Looking For 7+ years of progressive HR experience. Must have advanced level ADP experience (non‑negotiable). Strong understanding of Alberta labour laws. Hands‑on, proactive, and comfortable working independently. Experience in construction, landscaping, industrial, or similar sectors. Able to manage fast‑changing priorities in a high‑volume environment. Valid driver’s licence. Bilingual Spanish is an asset. Experience with seasonal hiring or shutdown labour cycles.
