Your Mission Supervise daily accounting functions, including accounts receivable/payable, inventory, and general ledger entries. Manage timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial closings, ensuring adherence to GAAP and legal regulations. Establish and maintain internal controls and robust accounting policies. Summarize current financial status by preparing balance sheets, profit‑and‑loss statements, and other reports. Produce financial and statistical reports using Sage300. Support month‑end activities, including reviewing journal entries and reconciling accounts. Collaborate on operating budget preparation and financial analysis. Ensure compliance with accounting policies while recommending improvements. Coordinate with internal and external auditors. Provide financial information to management through research and analysis. Identify and implement process enhancements for efficiency. Oversee patient and insurance receivables and related reconciliations, resolving payment issues. Manage the performance appraisal process for all team members. What You Bring To The Table Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Active CPA or CMA certification, or current pursuit of certification (preferred). Prior experience in internal or external auditing (preferred). Familiarity with ERP systems, especially Sage300 and Business Central. Advanced expertise in Sage300 and Business Central (highly desirable). Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate work. Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, accounting software, and databases. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all management levels. Proficiency in Excel (required) and Power BI (preferred). English proficiency for effective communication; bilingualism (French & English) is an asset. Compensation Base pay is part of a total compensation package. Ranges are based on local cost‑of‑living benchmarks for role, level, and geography.
