Overview Entry Level Personal Insurance Advisor position at BrokerLink. Work out of the Tillsonburg branch in Western Ontario, on a permanent full-time basis. No insurance experience is required; training to become a licensed insurance broker in Ontario is provided and paid for. You will help people protect what’s most important to them. What the Role Entails Service ongoing client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessments, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals. Sell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients, retain existing book of business. Quote new business through outbound calls, introductory letters and walk-in clients. Contact underwriters and adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy. Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewals. Stay current on underwriting rules and workflow processes. Actively participate in training initiatives and community marketing initiatives. Process accounts receivable activities and provide guidance as requested. The Successful Candidate Will Have Post-secondary education (required). Relevant sales and customer service experience. Desire and ability to create your own sales leads. Exposure to Epic is an asset. Strong customer focus, multi-tasking ability, and strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
