OverviewThe Clinical Area Manager (CAM) role at Electromed, Inc. is responsible for driving prescription referral growth and sales through physician offices, local clinics, and hospitals in the Nashville territory (including western Kentucky and central Tennessee). This remote/in-the-field position is based near Nashville, TN. The CAM uses consultative, face-to-face engagement with clients—physicians, patients, caregivers, therapists, and administrators—to analyze referral patterns, develop account plans, identify opportunities to increase referrals with existing referrers, and develop new referral channels using approved corporate resources to maximize growth and revenue.ResponsibilitiesAttend face-to-face educational events with patients and caregivers. Work the assigned territory effectively and efficiently. Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager, operations, reimbursement team, and related departments. Primary objective is to educate on HFCWO therapy and gain referrals to grow market share. Focus on adult pulmonology, growing bronchiectasis referrals followed by cystic fibrosis and neuromuscular clinics and patient indications.Analyze referral patterns and prioritize opportunities; create efficient zones within the territory through time management and planning skills.Cultivate strong relationships with top strategic referral sources to increase volume; identify key customer drivers (time to treatment, quality patient care, and technology) ensuring customer needs and gaps are met by linking our differentiated technology and service solutions.Use consultative selling skills to engage new referral sources and probe potential sources to uncover competitive takeaways based on unmet needs.Complete required paperwork and necessary documentation such as expense reports, scorecards, calendars, plans to succeed, and prescription-related materials in a timely manner. Utilize CRM for daily input of call activity and pipeline tracking. Work closely with the manager and cross-functional partners to achieve territory and business success.Qualifications / RequirementsBachelor’s degree preferred or relevant equivalent experience.2–4 years of medical sales experience (durable medical device preferred); strong understanding of healthcare and/or business experience.Strong sales knowledge and a proven track record.Prior airway clearance therapy experience is preferred but not required.Willingness to adhere to the company sales process.Achievement and mastery in consultative selling.Demonstrates best practices in account planning.Demonstrates a consistent track record of meeting referral goals.Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.Able to travel for initial training and within the territory to sell successfully.This is a remote/in-the-field position based near Nashville, TN.CompensationBase salary plus uncapped sales incentives; $75,000–$180,000+, with total compensation potentially higher based on individual performance.People & CultureBeyond Competitive – Our leadership team believes we should be beyond competitive, cultivating a culture of proud, driven employees who are passionate about their work and where they do it.
