We’re a different kind of company and we’re looking for a different kind of individual to join our team Technical Design Support Representative (TDSR) As a Technical Design Support Representative (TDSR), you’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful design and delivery of MAKR, Parkworks, and Waterplay projects. Acting as a technical consultant, you’ll provide expert guidance and hands‑on support throughout design and quoting stages, helping internal and external teams bring their visions to life. Your responsibilities will include verifying design criteria and compliance, producing AutoCAD drawings, coordinating with third‑party engineers for approvals, and reviewing Request for Proposals (RFPs), scopes of work, and installation requirements. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be critical in supporting smooth project execution from concept through to installation. RESPONSIBILITIES Technical review of project scope, drawings, and quotes Work directly with sales, design, and project management teams to ensure functionality of designs Work with third‑party engineers on approvals/reviews for snow/wind loads, structural footings, engineered stamps, and code compliance Create standard installation detail drawings, such as housekeeping slabs, footing, curbing, surfacing, site excavation, and for construction drawings Create and maintain AutoCAD and REVIT drawings and feature blocks Attend site meetings to review scope requirements and design considerations QUALIFICATIONS Post‑secondary diploma required (Mechanical or Civil Engineering preferred) Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT Customer service experience OTHER INFORMATION This is an on‑site position located in Kelowna, BC (805 Crowley Ave, Kelowna, BC) This position works full‑time (Monday to Friday, 8‑hour days) WORK PERKS A competitive annual salary ranging from $50,000 - $60,000 (with the possibility of a yearly bonus) 2 weeks of paid vacation and 5 wellness days Opportunity to enroll in our comprehensive benefits package after three months of employment Access to free professional coaching, resources, and counseling through an Employee and Family Assistance Program Mileage and travel reimbursement Lots of fun Product testing, catered lunches, silent auctions, contests, and more MAKR fosters an inclusive environment where every team member is valued, respected, and encouraged to share their unique perspectives.
