SUMMARY DESCRIPTION We are looking for a passionate and meticulous Compliance Specialist to ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of our quality management systems (ISO 9001) and environmental management systems (ISO 14001). Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering, the incumbent will play a key role in ensuring compliance with standards, preparing audits, and raising team awareness of best practices. This position is within a complex, multi‑site, high‑tech manufacturing environment. System Management Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements. Collaborate with various departments to integrate standard requirements into operational processes. Train and raise awareness among staff regarding ISO system requirements. Adapt compliance practices to the realities of a multi‑site, high‑tech manufacturing environment. Respond in writing to customer inquiries regarding the application of quality and environmental management systems at EXFO. Manage and maintain documentation for quality and environmental systems. Support and maintain the team’s digital tools (BlueKanGo, SharePoint, Power BI). Audit Management Plan, coordinate, and participate in internal and external audits. Train internal auditors. Non‑Conformity Management Support process owners in resolving non‑conformities and propose corrective and preventive actions. Legal Monitoring Coordinate organizational impacts following environmental legal monitoring. TECHNICAL SKILLS Excellent knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Proven experience in managing certified quality and environmental systems. Knowledge of auditing methods and risk analysis tools. Ability to interpret normative and regulatory requirements. Experience working in a high‑tech, multi‑site manufacturing company is an asset. Familiarity with SharePoint and Power BI platforms is an asset. NON‑TECHNICAL SKILLS Attention to detail and thoroughness. Excellent communication and simplification skills. Ability to work in a team and engage stakeholders. Organizational skills and autonomy. Able to take charge of responsibilities related to quality and environmental compliance. Analytical and problem‑solving mindset, proposes solutions adapted to the situation. Leadership and ability to positively influence quality/environmental culture. REQUIREMENTS Education: University degree in industrial engineering, quality engineering, environmental management, or any other relevant field (related degree and equivalent relevant experience will be considered). Additional training or certification in ISO management systems is highly desirable. Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an ISO‑certified manufacturing environment. Experience in independently managing quality/environmental systems. Language Requirement: French and English (spoken and written). Availability to travel and work with multi‑site teams.
