From 26 offices in 15 countries, with projects in over 80 locations worldwide, we create sustainable outcomes for our people, clients and communities.We are looking for talented Mechanical Engineers at all levels — Junior, Intermediate, and Senior — to join our Minerals & Metals business line in North America (Toronto, Burlington, Vancouver, Calgary) as we prepare for many exciting new execution and study projects.About The RoleDeliver mechanical engineering design according to required timeframes and standards. Work will include, but not be limited to, the following:Materials handling calculations and designConveyor calculations and designPlatework calculations and designPumping/piping system calculations and designIssue drawings and other relevant information for construction by working with other engineers and designersFacilitate the purchase of mechanical equipment by creating data sheets, scopes of work, technical specifications, evaluating and conforming multiple tenderers, and assisting procurement with the purchase of equipmentAssist with the development and review of relevant mechanical contracts by providing advice and input as requiredContribute to the cost-efficient delivery of mechanical engineering, recommending alternative approaches where possibleAbout YouP.Eng designation, or working toward itBachelor's Degree in Mechanical EngineeringMechanical design engineering experience in a relevant industry, e.g. mining, mineral processingAbility to resolve most technical issues in an efficient manner utilizing personal knowledge, external consultants and in-house experienceExperience in a multi-disciplinary engineering environmentExcellent communication skillsExperience with SmartPlant is considered an advantageWhy Ausenco?We support individual growth and aim to allow you to work in a way that plays to your strengths.
