What you'll do As a key member of our Web & IT team, you will report directly to the Web & IT Director, working closely with a select group of exceptional talents who leverage the latest technological advances. We are looking for a proactive Senior System Administrator who is skilled at navigating challenges and committed to excellence. In addition to managing our infrastructure and cloud services on AWS, you will play a central role in implementing and governing our cybersecurity framework (such as CIS), ensuring the protection and compliance of our systems and data. Responsibilities Manage IT infrastructure, including on-premises configurations and AWS cloud services. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of identity solutions using Microsoft Entra Identity. Automate software and system deployment to improve efficiency. Collaborate with development teams to facilitate web application hosting and streamline DevOps practices. Ensure data integrity and availability through regular backups, ensuring projects are completed on schedule. Comprehensively document system architectures, including disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Address complex technical issues as part of the internal helpdesk support team, providing expert assistance. Define, implement, and maintain a cybersecurity framework based on CIS Controls or an equivalent standard. Implement and maintain centralized logging and monitoring solutions (CloudWatch, SIEM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, etc.) to detect anomalies and prevent incidents. Coordinate the response to security incidents and contribute to employee awareness of cybersecurity best practices. Proactively seek opportunities to improve IT systems and security measures in line with the company's growth. Qualifications You have over 10 years of experience as a Systems Administrator specializing in AWS cloud services and cybersecurity. You possess a deep understanding of AWS architecture, services, and security best practices. You hold (or are pursuing) AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator. You are familiar with CIS benchmarks and have implemented security controls within AWS environments. You are proficient in scripting languages like Python and Bash for automation. You have experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. You understand networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, and VPN, and have worked with AWS network services. You are an expert in virtualization technologies and in administering containerized environments using Docker. You apply system hardening best practices across all environments. You troubleshoot issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms. You have experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins. You are familiar with configuration management tools like Ansible. You demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication. You collaborate proactively, explain complex concepts simply, and focus on supporting both customers and your team.
