Join to apply for the Pipefitter Apprentice - SaskPower Aspen role at Jardeg3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.OverviewPosition: Pipefitter Apprentice - SaskPower AspenProject Type: IndustrialProject Location: SaskPower Aspen Site in Lanigan, SaskatchewanShift: DaySchedule: Accommodations: LOAGC: GrahamAllied Partner: Woodland Constructors LtdReference Number: 29645Jardeg is recruiting for Pipefitters Apprentices' for upcoming work at Woodland Constructors Ltd.Responsibilities include working with the Journeyperson to support pipefitting tasks at the site.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirementsCut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machineSelect type and size of pipe requiredMeasure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power toolsWeld, braze, cement, solder, and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping systemHDPE Fusion experience NPS 4"-20" (with fusion tickets) and/or Vic Roll Grooving NPS 4"-24"; Install supports, valves, piping and control systemsTest system for leaks using testing equipmentClean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush systemRemove and replace worn components and reactivate systemInvolved in working with power tools and heavy equipmentRequirementsCSTS 2020 or SCOTWHMIS 2015Fall Protection (OSSA Preferred)Confined Space (OSSA Preferred)Elevated Work Platform (OSSA Preferred)Journeyperson Certificate or be a registered ApprenticeCandidates must be legally entitled to work in CanadaPre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing is requiredCome and get your boots dirtyWith a significant presence in the construction, industrial maintenance, and turnaround sectors, Jardeg is the largest recruiter of skilled trades in Canada.
