The objective of the MRT (MR) is to provide safe and competent exams through the application of imaging knowledge, the technical aspects of professional practice and the demonstration of compassion, professionalism and respect. The successful candidate's home site will be the St. Catharines Site and hours of work may be required at other Niagara Health sites.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging ProgramCurrent registration with the College of Medical Radiation Imaging Technologists of Ontario MRT(MR)One year MRI experience in the past five years in a similar hospital settingCertification in intravenous set up and contrast media administrationDemonstrated knowledge and skill in the production and assessment of diagnostic radiographs and MRI imagesDemonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional developmentApplies knowledge, skills, judgment and competencies required for safe, independent and inter-disciplinary practice by meeting MRI and Radiography practice standards as outlined by the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of OntarioApplies Niagara Health values and professional practice standards to patient/client care and serviceIntegrates reflection, critical thinking, education and relevant practical experience in problem solvingWorking knowledge of Hospital and Diagnostic Imaging Information and Imaging Systems and other related computer systemsConsistent and regular attendance requiredProficiency in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an assetHow to Apply:If you are interested in this position, please visit our careers page by 11:59pm August 26, 2025 and submit an application through eRecruit.
