You’ll craft content strategy and UX writing for features that help millions of people do their best work every day.In this role, you’ll lead content design for high-impact initiatives like onboarding, feature adoption, and quality improvements. You’ll collaborate closely with product designers, PMs, engineers, and researchers to ensure that content drives business goals, meets user needs, and reflects our high standards. You’ll also develop and maintain consistent language across our web, mobile, and desktop platforms, making Dropbox feel seamless and easy to use.ResponsibilitiesOwn the content strategy and UX writing across core Dropbox featuresDeliver high-quality UX writing for menus, onboarding, settings, and core user flowsTranslate complex concepts into friendly, easy-to-understand experiencesAlign your work to business goals, user needs, and our style guidesCreate, maintain, and socialize content guidelinesCraft content informed by user feedback, metrics, technical constraints, localization, and accessibility standardsPartner closely with product designers, engineers, product managers, researchers, and other stakeholdersPrioritize across a broad range of needs to focus on the highest impact projectsContribute to workshops and critiques to push your craft and elevate the quality of our workCollaborate with product marketers and other partners to align messagingRequirements7+ years of professional writing experience, including 5+ years focused on in-product contentA knack for crafting end-to-end experiences and translating technical talk into people speakExperience following and creating writing style guidelinesExperience writing for mobile apps and/or across platformsProven ability to prioritize across multiple projects and stakeholdersExperience partnering with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineersA portfolio of content design (please include this with your application)Preferred QualificationsExperience working on productivity toolsPassion for building team cultureSkill in demonstrating the impact of Content DesignCompensationCanada Pay Range$136,000—$184,000 CADThe range listed above is the expected annual salary/OTE for this role, subject to change. Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package.
