Beginning early 2025, we will be partnering with an in person clinic to allow for in person patient visits in Calgary, AB. Foria clinic is primarily a virtual clinic providing trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse Canadians with gender-affirming healthcare. Reporting to the Medical Director of Foria, our team of physicians provide hormone assessments and prescriptions, surgical assessments and referrals, and general health care to trans and nonbinary people in Alberta. Join us in the opportunity to improve access to gender-affirming care across the provinceIn this role, you'll make an impact by:Working with patients from across Alberta who are highly motivated and excited to access careSupporting peoples' gender journeys through hormone prescribing and referrals to surgeonsWorking collaboratively with a team including other Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and a Psychotherapist to ensure high quality care is provided to all patientsReducing wait-times for trans and nonbinary folks in all regions of AlbertaAdvocating for system changes to better support trans and nonbinary peopleWe need someone who has:A College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) license in good standingCanadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) coverage for practice in AlbertaAn interest in gender-affirming careIt would also be great if you have:Previous experience and/or training in trans and nonbinary health care (e.g. from Trans Care BC, Rainbow Health Ontario, WPATH, etc.)Billing:Fee-for-service AH billing (psychotherapy and consult codes) managed by our operations teamCompetitive overhead feesDo you think you could be our next Physician?
