Environmental Services Representative – Future and Ongoing Opportunities Job ID: 6925. Location: York Region, Community & Health Services – Paramedic and Seniors Services – Long Term Care and Seniors. Position type: Casual/On‑call temporary; no fixed length. Salary: $25.07 – $27.25 per hour; unionized under CUPE 905. About the Role This position maintains the facility in a clean, orderly condition to provide a safe, pleasant environment for residents, staff, and visitors in accordance with Ministry of Health LTC Standards, Health Protection & Promotion Act, the Occupational Health & Safety Act and departmental policy. The representative transports residents, furnishings, laundry and equipment; washes and sorts residents' personal laundry, as assigned. Salary $25.07 per hour (unionized; see benefits below). Minimum two (2) years experience in a housekeeping department of a long‑term health care facility, hospital or other large institutional environment. Successful Police Vulnerable Sector Check, TB screening and immunization proof per Long‑Term Care Homes Act. Knowledge and ability in corporate core competencies: customer service, communication, teamwork, initiative/self‑management and accountability, flexibility/adaptability.
