Manager, Advisory Services Reports to: Director, Principal and/or Partner About Invictus Accounting Group LLP We are not your typical CPA firm. Located in downtown Vancouver, our 75+ members provide consulting, accounting and tax advisory to publicly listed and privately held companies. We focus on top‑tier advisory services and maintain a low employee turnover thanks to a flexible, team‑oriented culture. Job Overview As part of Invictus’ Advisory team, this role leads project‑based and recurring advisory projects for a diverse client base (mining, technology, government, R&D, etc). The Manager plans, executes, mentors staff and delivers on projects such as quarterly public company financial reporting, private company listings on Canadian stock exchanges, financial planning & analysis, and other advisory engagements. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Lead advisory projects, create project plans, and manage staff execution. Communicate with client CEOs, CFOs, controllers and auditors. Provide professional, value‑added, practical recommendations and improvement strategies. Maintain high quality of advisory deliverables, reviewing working papers, financial statements, MD&A, budgets, etc. Manage staff performance, mentorship and support; promote a team‑based office culture. Education and Professional Skillset Requirements Minimum four years progressively responsible experience in consulting or auditing, in public practice or a publicly traded company, focusing on IFRS financial reporting. Minimum of two years holding CPA designation. Other finance/accounting designations are an asset. Proficiency in drafting IFRS financial statements and knowledge of public company reporting deadlines. Strong project and people management experience, supervising staff. Collaborative, team‑oriented, high‑energy, self‑motivated, performance‑driven; strong communication in English. Spanish and/or French an asset. Compensation Industry‑competitive salary, annual bonus opportunities, paid vacation and sick time, health savings account, and professional development opportunities.
