Our core values of safety, teamwork, environmental sustainability, integrity, and commitment allow our more than 1,900 dedicated team members to thrive in their careers and to create a lasting legacy that benefits all Alamos stakeholders.Role Overview: The Co-op Student will provide support to the finance department.Primary Responsibilities:Update and reconcile the global cash balances and activitiesAssist with cash management and liquidity planning processesSupport FX and gold trading activitiesCollaborate with banks on trade confirmations and settlementsCoordinate and collect documents from departments for corporate development or financingResponsible for assessing and maintaining the internal controls documentationAssist with accounting activities, month-end close, audit requests, and quarterly financial reportsAssist with financial analysis, quarterly forecasting, and annual budgeting processParticipate in projects and assignments as neededExperience:Preferred:Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in a Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics disciplineStrong quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills with a clearly defined interest to work in financeA high demonstrated level of attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
