We are looking to add someone to our team who is a lateral thinker, able to navigate complexity and embrace ambiguity. Transmitters, sensors, valves, actuators, etc.) based on process requirements and industry standardsAlways conduct oneself in a professional manner in alignment with Company values, including but not limited to language use, attire, and workmanshipIn accordance with Company policy and relevant employment legislation, overtime and work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the CompanyAll other duties as assignedKey QualificationsPost-secondary degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in automation or material handlingIntermediate to Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical schematics and layoutsExperience using SolidWorksStrong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and pneumatic/hydraulic systemsKnowledge of motors, motor control systems, and automation hardwareExperience with custom automation, conveyors, or material handling systems (asset)Resourceful and results-driven with a focus on completing tasks on time and within budgetExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsEffective in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environmentsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood communication skills with the ability to work with engineering teammates and shop floor staffWe Look Forward to Hearing from YouWe are committed to diversity and inclusion.
