Financial Planning Analyst II Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Overview Mercor is headquartered in San Francisco with investors including Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey. This position is a Financial and Investment Analyst independent contractor role available for US, UK, or Canada residents. Compensation & Employment Base pay range: $90.00/hr – $200.00/hr Duration: 3–4 weeks Commitment: 15+ hours/week At‑will contractor; paid weekly via Stripe Connect. Unable to support H1‑B or STEM OPT status. Role Responsibilities Design questions related to financial and investment analysis using professional experience. Evaluate the accuracy and depth of AI‑generated content to strengthen reasoning and rigor in model outputs. Provide clear, structured feedback to AI research teams to improve training data quality and downstream performance. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance. Ensure access to a desktop or laptop computer for project work.
