Overview
We are seeking a talented Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality websites and applications.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  1. Develop new websites, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date content.
  2. Maintain websites for updates.
  3. Design and implement new features and functionality.
  4. Collaborate with team members to determine requirements.
  5. Adhere to coding standards and best practices.
  6. Convert content into web-friendly formats.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience as a junior web developer.
  3. Proficient in coding languages like jQuery, JSON, HTML, Python, and Ajax.
  4. Experience and good understanding of platforms such as Shopify, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla.
  5. Strong understanding of web development fundamentals.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  7. Portfolio of web design projects.
  8. Proficiency in software prototyping and UX design tools.
  9. Goal-oriented and flexible.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Ottawa, ON K2P 1L4
