Marcus Evans Summits curates matches between buyers and sellers via guaranteed, pre-qualified, mutually agreed one-to-one meetings. Our client base includes C-level executives from 98% of existing fortune 1000 companies across industries such as healthcare, legal, pharmaceutical, investments, energy, and packaging.We are searching for a Business Development Associate to develop new accounts and manage client relationships. The role includes a 3-month mentorship program with progression into an Account Executive role. This is an in-person role located in our Laval office.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerating and prospecting new leads to create a book of business.Targeting General Partners and C-suite decision-makers.Contacting, qualifying, and engaging prospects through email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.Keeping an organized record of sales activity and pipeline.Nurturing new and existing client relationships.Traveling to destination cities nationwide to attend to clients.Acting on behalf of the company and our clients in the delivery of our products and services.QualificationsSales interest: Have a strong desire to pursue a career in B2B sales.Communication and outreach skills: Experience with cold calling and email outreach is a plus.Coachability: Be hungry to learn and open to feedback.Exceptional listening and questioning skills: Understanding of emotional intelligence and tactical empathy.Pipeline management ability: Research, time management, and organizational skills are a must.Achiever mindset: We promote from within and actively develop top performers into successful leaders.Compensation & Benefits$74,000 minimum earnings after a 3-month training period. First year OTE $90,000–$110,000. Second-year OTE $110,000–$150,000.Hands-on mentorship and continual training through one-on-one coaching, tape training, and role play.
