Food Safety Quality Assurance Coordinator – ContractPosition Summary: As a member of the facility's FSQA team, the FSQA Coordinator monitors and analyzes data related to all Food Safety, GMP, HACCP and other Quality Assurance Program requirements to ensure they are consistently achieved. The Coordinator reviews escalated proposed corrective actions and provides guidance and support as required. The role requires comfort with large data sets and the ability to recommend actions to FSQA leadership in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.Application Information: Any MLF team member interested in this role should apply online by November 14. Applications received beyond that date may not be guaranteed consideration.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the execution of the site environmental program (EMP).Coordinate and ensure proper execution of the Hold and Release program.Function as the gatekeeper of SharePoint and SAP.Maintain and coordinate verification and changes to SOPs in SharePoint and SAP.Conduct CCP and prerequisite training as well as other Food Safety Training.Maintain GMP training presentations and CCP presentations.Execute NCRs.Investigate and draft responses for customer and consumer complaints.Coordinate FSQA document management (SOPs, training material, policies, etc.).Support or deliver FSQA training.Order FSQA supplies.Assist with construction activities and planning of environmental monitoring.Support or coordinate equipment calibrations (MDs, thermometers, data tracers, etc.).Participate in meetings and projects as required.Provide backup support to the FSQA Technician.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsUniversity degree or college diploma preferably in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science or a related discipline.2‑3 years of experience in a technical role at a food manufacturing facility.Proven ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.Superior systems skills, including MS Office.Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.Willingness to learn and teach others.Proven alignment to Maple Leaf Leadership Values.What We OfferPart of a high‑performance, people‑focused company committed to sustainability and innovation.An inclusive company culture the keeps safety, rewards excellence and empowers learning.Competitive health and wellness benefits, starting on day one.Application Process: Please submit your application online.
