Working collaboratively, we leverage our collective skills to deliver exceptional products and experiences to drive growth in our largest market. We are an agile group catering to the unique needs of the North American market, while maintaining strong connections with our global counterparts.What you’ll be doingYour leadership will be instrumental in accelerating Yoto’s next phase of growth in Canada. As Country Manager, you will own the end-to-end revenue growth strategy for the market, collaborating with global and local teams to ensure seamless execution. Your responsibilities will include:Overseeing financial performance and budget management for the Canadian marketIdentifying key opportunities to drive revenue growth through channel strategy and optimization, marketing, pricing & promotionsEvaluating & developing key B2B partnerships in collaboration with the Commercial teamBuilding and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clientsWorking in close collaboration with the North America marketing team to define the marketing strategy, and then working with global teams (PR, Social, Performance, Brand, Retention) as required to execute campaigns, on time and on budgetManaging our Canadian PR agency and local PR initiatives to amplify Yoto’s brand presenceOverseeing activations at industry trade shows, consumer events, and educational conferencesWorking with the global teams to launch new products and campaigns in marketCoordinating with the Content team to localize and curate audio content for the Canadian market, ensuring cultural relevance and regional appealCollaborating with Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient product availability and delivery in CanadaAnalyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies to inform strategic decisions and growth opportunitiesLeading and developing the Canadian team, ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration with North American and global colleaguesWhat you’ll bring8+ years of experience in a similar role; experience at a fast-growth startup/scale up is a huge plusStrong understanding of Canadian consumer behaviorProven track record of successfully developing and executing business development and marketing strategies in the Canadian market, ideally with experience across marketing, ecommerce and B2BBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferredDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with global counterpartsExcellent financial acumen, including budget management and P&L responsibilityStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisionsStrong negotiation and relationship-building skillsExperience building and managing partnerships with brands, retailers, publishers, and content creatorsExcellent communication and presentation skills in English; bilingual French is a plusA passion for audio content and technologyAbility to think on your feet and learn quicklyExperience marketing to parents is a plus.Salary: CA$175,000 - $195,000 based on experienceWhat you can expect from usFlexibility: A choice based approach - as a remote employee you will work from your home with occasional travel to our Brooklyn office, as required.
