Work Location Calgary, Saint‑John's & Ottawa About The Role As a Sales and Customer Service Representative, you will become a trusted advisor helping Canadians protect the things that matter to them. We provide mentoring, training, and a recognition program with an annual bonus plan and accelerated career path, with the opportunity to be promoted after six months. What You’ll Do Here Play a key role in optimally protecting our customers' most valuable assets by advising them on appropriate insurance products, answering their product questions and guiding them through the next steps. Analyze individual customer needs, promote and cross‑sell personal insurance products and services. Accept and efficiently process payment method changes, ensuring customer accounts are updated accurately and in a timely manner. Handle telephone and electronic inquiries from existing customers in a professional and timely manner, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly. What You Bring To The Table You self‑identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, or Métis) At least one year of customer service experience in a call‑center environment. Previous experience in sales and customer loyalty is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for customers and colleagues, and the ability to understand and empathize with others. Proficiency in technology and ease navigating multiple systems. Ability to multi‑task and remain calm under pressure. You must be prepared to study for and pass the provincial insurance licensing exam with the support of our in‑house training team. Bilingualism in English and French is a considerable advantage. No Canadian work experience is required, but candidates must be authorized to work in Canada full‑time. This Position Requires During training, availability to work 35 hours, Monday to Friday, with day time shifts (9 am to 5 pm). After training, availability to work 35 hours, including every Saturday, with evening shift (between 10:30 am and 8 pm). During the first year, you will be asked to work on public holidays and will be paid in accordance with labor standards.
