This is a hybrid position, offered initially as a 6-month contract, with the potential to extend or transition into a permanent role based on performance.The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in the advertising, media, or marketing industry, with a strong track record of generating leads, closing deals, and building strategic relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities to support agency growth across traditional and digital advertising services.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, brands, media partners, and internal stakeholders.Understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop customized, integrated advertising solutions.Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, presentations, and proposals to prospective clients.Consistently meet or exceed revenue and business development targets.Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.Represent the agency at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings.Requirements5+ years of experience in business development or client servicing within the advertising, media, or marketing industry.In-depth understanding of advertising solutions.Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.Nice To HaveExperience working with or within a full-service advertising agencyEstablished network of contacts in the Canadian advertising/media landscapeUnderstanding of both B2B and B2C advertising environmentsWhat Our Client Offers6-month contract with opportunity for extension or permanent hire based on performanceHybrid work model (Mississauga office)Competitive compensationA collaborative and creative team cultureExposure to major brand campaigns and cross-channel advertising strategiesTo ApplyPlease send your updated resume to shibani@hrc-globalservices.com with the subject line: Application – Business Development Manager (Advertising).
