Department Overview The Corporate Lending Operations team, with over 80 experienced professionals, supports bilateral and syndicated loans for high‑profile corporate clients globally and administers foreign currency loans for personal credit, private banking and commercial and retail clients. Job Description Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Lending Operations, the successful candidate will service a portfolio of Corporate Lending clients. The Successful Candidate Will Be Required To Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the Corporate Lending business and act as a subject‑matter expert. Build and maintain working relationships with clients, external and internal partners. Provide loan servicing functions for high‑value corporate relationships, meeting all timelines, delivering excellent client service and managing risk while adhering to policies and procedures. Perform secondary checks/approvals and review end‑of‑day transactions as an experienced team member. Keep the portfolio current and accurate with no operational incidents, proactively reviewing and analyzing daily, weekly and monthly reports to resolve discrepancies. Prioritize and manage workload to meet service and productivity requirements. Escalate non‑standard or high‑risk transactions as appropriate. Protect the bank’s interests by adhering to operating standards and procedures. Engage in initiatives that foster a creative environment where innovative thinking is welcomed and supported. Assist in developing and implementing operational improvements to streamline procedures and enhance customer service. Contribute to team success by providing coverage and assistance when required. Lead by example as a member of ONE CLO to embrace collaboration within the team and across other teams. Job Requirements Minimum three years of experience in a corporate lending operation environment with tight operational and financial controls. Strong record in managing relationships with high‑profile clients. Ability to read, review and understand Corporate Lending Credit Agreement terms. Experience managing a portfolio of Corporate Client borrowing accounts as a syndicated participant lender and direct lender. Solid experience on lending platforms, including building new primary and secondary deals, facilities and outstanding drawings, repayments, interest and fee payments. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self‑motivated, strong team player with sharp analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Mainframe. Flexible schedule, including Canadian statutory holidays. Other Qualification/Skills/Experiences Client‑facing experience is an asset. Experience using LoanIQ is a strong asset. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Commitment to operational and service excellence. Experience reading legal documents is an asset.
