BAMSI is committed to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Accessibility; to creating a holistic system of care; and to abolishing the stigmas surrounding mental illness, disability, and addiction.Why BAMSI:When you join BAMSI\'s nursing team, you join dedicated caregivers, both RNs and LPNs, who provide hands-on, personalized direct care that challenges critical thinking, analytical abilities, and supports wellness.What We Offer: Benefits available for 30+ hours / Limited benefits availableTime Off - 4 weeks combined vacation, personal and cultural holiday.12 paid holidays2 weeks Sick TimeHighly Specialized Paid Trainings including opportunity to earn CEUsHSA and Competitive Benefit Package403B plan with discretionary matchWellness ActivitiesEmployee Assistance ProgramCareer Development OpportunitiesResponsibilitiesWhat you’ll do:The Nurse Manager is a key leader within the multidisciplinary team, overseeing the healthcare needs of individuals in a community setting.Clinical Care & TreatmentAssess health needs, develop care plans, and administer medications/treatments per regulations (DPH, CARF).Provide direct support, including ADLs, mobility assistance, and community integration.Care Coordination & AdvocacyLiaise with physicians, specialists, and stakeholders to ensure seamless healthcare delivery.Coordinate hospital admissions, discharges, and follow-up care.Compliance & SafetyMaintain medication logs, infection control, and safety protocols.Ensure program adherence to funder, state, and accreditation standards.Stakeholder CommunicationDeliver timely health updates to families, guardians, and funders.Document and report care outcomes accurately.Staff Leadership & TrainingTrain and mentor staff on medical protocols and person-centered practices.Foster a supportive environment using Positive Behavior Supports (PBS).Operational FlexibilityParticipate in on-call rotation (24/7) and provide holiday/weekend coverage as needed.Assist with day/residential program coverage during staffing gaps.QualificationsWhat You Bring:Required: Active LPN license in MA, driver’s license, and reliable car.Preferred: Active RN license in MA, driver\'s license, and reliable car.Experience: Supporting mental health needs (personal or professional).Skills: Clear communication, basic computer use, and teamwork.Language: Must be fluent in English; multilingual a bonus.We ValueYour unique background— not just your resume.Growth mindsets (we’ll invest in your training).Mon-Fri 7a-3p40 #J-18808-Ljbffr
