In this role, you'll play a key role on a small team, helping us win new business with growth companies of up to 100 employees. We receive a steady stream of inbound leads in this segment, which means our Startup AEs need to be highly organized and capable of managing a high volume of opportunities. You'll also do outbound pipeline development to some of the fastest growing and exciting venture‑backed startups in the market to accelerate our growth. Key Qualifications You practice clear, concise communication and write short, effective emails. You’re highly organized and diligent with your time, focusing efforts to produce the best results. You love becoming an expert and enjoy learning about new fields, distilling information to share with others. You are detail oriented, sending crisp follow‑up emails on time and taking pride in internal operations like real‑time CRM updates. You move fast, leveraging tools/technology to maximize selling time and comfortably manage a pipeline of 15+ opportunities concurrently. You are an excellent listener, consistently seeking to understand technical pain and business impact. You are a collaborative team player, dedicated to supporting colleagues and contributing to the team's overall success. Requirements 2+ years of full‑cycle SaaS sales experience. Experience sourcing sales meetings from outbound prospecting activities. Consistently achieved stretch targets with creativity and organization. Bonus Points Previous recruiter or Recruiting Operations professional using Ashby or similar tools. Experience selling to TA professionals. Top performing inbound/outbound BDR before becoming an AE. Reasons Not To Apply Uncomfortable running product demonstrations. Prefer working on a small number of big deals. Day‑to‑day does not consist of 4+ meetings per day.
