We offer a great work environment and competitive total compensation package, including an above-market retirement savings plan and market-competitive group benefits.We are seeking a Business Intelligence & Reporting Developer responsible for building the business intelligence system for the company, based on the internal and external data structures. This role involves leading the design and support of enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture, working with enterprise-wide business and IT senior management to understand and prioritize data and information requirements, and solving complex technical problems.RESPONSIBILITIES:Leading BI software development, deployment, and maintenanceReport curation, template definition, and analytical data modelingWork with cross-functional teams to gather and document reporting requirementsTranslate business requirements into specifications for reports and dashboards from multiple data sourcesIdentify and resolve data reporting issues in a timely mannerBuild solutions that create value and resolve business problemsProvide technical guidance to designers and other stakeholdersWork effectively with members of the Digital Solutions TeamInstall, configure, deploy, and tune analytics tools and serversTroubleshoot analytics tool problems and tune for performanceDevelop semantic layer and analytics query objects for end usersQUALIFICATIONS:University Degree or Community College Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience2+ years of Business Intelligence or Report development experienceUnderstanding of ERP and Operational systems databases, knowledge of database programmingHighly skilled at writing SQL queries with large scale, complex datasetsExperience in data visualization and data storytellingExperience designing, debugging, and deploying software in VSTS (Azure Dev/Ops) development environmentExperience with Microsoft BI stack - Power BI and SQL Server Analysis ServicesStrong problem-solving and metadata skillsTeamwork and commitment to project goalsOwnership, accountability, and speed of executionKnowledge of analytics tool architectures, functions, and featuresHusky Technologies TM is committed to equal employment opportunity and values diversity in our workplace.
