Principal Software Engineer AAOS

Job DescriptionYour Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications)Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.15+ years of experience in embedded software development and launching quality software into production.Proven track record of leading software development teams in complex system environments.Strong expertise in embedded systems, Linux, Android, and QNX / RTOS systems.Experience with Android AOSP and AAOS stacks, OS startup sequences, and interaction models between domains.Experience developing automotive infotainment solutions.Understanding of embedded system requirements, Inter ECU communications, and strict timing constraints.Technical Skills: Java / C++, operating systems and runtime environments, safety, security.Proactive problem solver with demonstrated technical strength.Quality-focused, able to find solutions quickly despite obstacles.Leadership and Communication: Excellent interpersonal, leadership, written, and verbal technical communication skills. Ability to incorporate team ideas and explain technical concepts effectively.Additional Notes: GM does not provide immigration sponsorship for this role.
