Job Description:

Prairie Mountain Health is recruiting two (2) skilled & ambitious Urologists to join our healthcare team in Brandon, Manitoba.

As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating urologic disorders, including surgical procedures, ordering diagnostic tests, and consulting with and providing urologic expertise to other physicians/healthcare providers as required.

Brandon Regional Health Centre has 309 beds, which includes 10 ICU beds. Brandon Regional Health Centre Diagnostic Services include radiology, ultrasound, CT, and MRI. A wide range of specialist services available onsite include pediatrics, obstetrics & gynecology, anesthesia, general surgery, radiology, nuclear medicine, oncology, orthopedic surgery, and internal medicine.

Applicants will be able to join one of the various clinics throughout the city. All private clinics will have a competitive overhead rate. Brandon hosts a University of Manitoba satellite campus for clinical clerk positions and resident training through the CaRMS match. p>

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree
  • Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
  • Before starting the practice, you are required to obtain medico-legal insurance with the Canadian Medical Protective Association or with another carrier at your expense
  • Must provide Criminal record check, Child and Adult abuse check prior to starting practice
  • Language of work: English

Remuneration:

Will be fee-for-service based on an agreement between Doctors Manitoba and Manitoba Healthy Living and Seniors (MHHLS). The income is derived from all sources during the regular working day and does not include medical services provided after hours, weekends, or holidays. For 24-hour off-site on-call, the current rate is $597.li>
