Role Description This is a contract, on-site position for a Computer Science Professor at the Kelowna/Vernon, BC campus of Okanagan College. The primary responsibilities include designing and delivering engaging and effective computer science lessons and supporting student learning through comprehensive lesson planning and individualized instruction. Additional tasks include curriculum development and providing support for students’ academic growth in related areas such as mathematics and technology. Teachers will also contribute to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications Experience and expertise in Computer Science and Computer Science Education Skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development Knowledge in Mathematics and its application in computer science contexts Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support diverse learners Ability to engage students and apply innovative teaching techniques Minimum of a Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Previous teaching experience and/or teaching certification is considered an asset Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Contract Job Function Education and Training Industries Higher Education #J-18808-Ljbffr
