As part of our growing AnalyticsCenterofExcellence, we are seeking an AnalyticsEngineer with exceptional PowerBI skills, a problem‑solving mindset, and a passion for delivering insightful, customer‑ready analytics solutions. This role blends hands‑on analytics development with customer‑facing collaboration. You will implement and support advanced BI applications, help integrate analytics into larger business ecosystems, and contribute to pre‑sales innovation efforts that demonstrate Syntax’s thought leadership in data‑driven transformation. KeyResponsibilities DesignandImplementAnalyticsApplications: Build end‑to‑end BI solutions leveraging PowerBI on AzureandAWS environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and governance. DevelopDashboardsandReports: Create impactfulPowerBIdashboards and interactivereportsthat deliver critical KPIs across supplychain,financial, andmanufacturing domains. EmbedAnalyticsintoPowerAppsandBusinessWorkflows: IntegratePowerBIvisuals anddatamodelsintoPowerAppssolutions where appropriate to enable trueinsight‑to‑actionfeedbackloops. SupportPre‑SalesandDemoDevelopment(10–15%oftime): CollaboratewithSalesandSolutionArchitectteamstodesignprototypes,builddemocontent,presentsolutionstoprospects,andestimateprojecteffortandlicensingrequirements. EnsureAnalyticsQualityandBestPractices: Applysoliddatamodelingtechniques,DAXandPowerQueryMexpertise,and working with SAP, JDEdwards, andotherERPdata sources. LeverageGenAIforEfficiency: EmployGenerativeAItoolstoenhancepersonalproductivity,solutiondesign, andcodingefficiencywithin Syntaxguidelines. RequiredQualifications Bachelor’sdegreeinDataAnalytics,InformationSystems,ComputerScience,orrelatedfield(orequivalentexperience). StrongunderstandingofcorebusinessprocessesandKPIsinfinance,manufacturing,andsupplychain. Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills withtheabilitytointeractconfidentlywithtechnicalandexecutivestakeholders. PreferredQualifications ExperiencewithotherBIorvisualizationtools(e.g.,AWSQuickSight,Tableau,Qlik). FamiliaritywithMicrosoftPowerAppsandPowerAutomate. ExposuretoMachineLearningorpredictiveanalyticssolutions(especiallywhenintegratedwithPowerBIorcloudservices). AwarenessofAzureDataFactory,Synapse,AWSGlue,orRedshiftconceptstocollaborateeffectivelywithdataengineeringteams. Remote role–basedintheU.S.orCanada;workscoreEasternTimehours.
