HDR is seeking a Senior Design Coordinator to join our team and continue providing our clients and communities with creative design solutions that enhance the health and human condition of those they serve.ResponsibilitiesIndependently evaluate, select and apply architectural techniques, procedures and modifications to architectural construction documentsIndependently perform architectural assignments with only general instruction from the Project Architect or Project Manager regarding the expected resultsCoordinate subconsultant work for alignment with project requirements and Architectural DesignWork directly with owners/clients to select and recommend proceduresWrite specifications covering architectural matters and perform code reviewsAssist Project Architects, other Architectural Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed, and take responsibility for work in all phases of the architectural processPerform other duties as neededSelection ProcessShortlisted candidates will be required to complete a Revit skills assessment to demonstrate their proficiency with Revit software and related design tasks. Accommodations will be made available upon request.QualificationsPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in ArchitectureExperience in the areas of Data Centers or Mission Critical facilitiesExperience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not requiredKnowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignExperience with SketchUp and Enscape a plus, but not requiredWilling to travel on semi-regular basis to project sitesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related fieldA minimum of 5 years professional or internship experience preparing details, specifications and construction documentsMust possess credentials to obtain future registrationExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)Desire to pursue growth opportunities and eventually obtain registrationStrong leadership, communication and relationship management skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiar with related tools and processDemonstrated graphic presentation skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
