LTO Assignment: Grade 2 & Grade 3 FSL – 1.00 FTE Long Term Occasional (LTO) teaching assignment for the Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB). The role requires coverage of a regular teacher on leave in a Grade 2 or Grade 3 learning support (FSL) classroom. Application requirements Current OCSB employee: must use OCSB ATE account and OCSB email. Applicants must hold good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers. Successful completion of Sexual Abuse Prevention Training through OCT. Responsibilities Provide immediate classroom support and instructional delivery for the assigned Grade 2/3 FSL classroom. Collaborate with the regular teacher and support staff to ensure continuity of learning. Adhere to OCSB policies, including health and safety protocols. Salary and terms Salary will be determined in accordance with Article 32 of the OECTA Collective Agreement effective September 1 2025, ranging from $51,234.00 to $119,943.00. Application process Submit a full application via Apply to Education by the closing date. The board will select the three most senior qualified applicants and contact them for confirmation. If fewer than three qualified applicants apply, the board will select the successful candidate from the remaining applicants. In the absence of qualified candidates, an external qualified teacher may be hired after completing the standard interview and background checks.
