Hybrid is 3 days a week onsite and 2 days a week remoteSAP Enterprise Cloud Services is looking for a Senior Security Analyst with a strong technological and security background across the stack. Your focus topic will be Security Incident Response. You will respond to incidents escalated from various sources and will analyze complex security events targeting customer and company applications, data and systems following both documented procedures as well as industry best practices and creative resolutions. Ideal candidates should be a creative problem solver and quick learner able to adapt quickly to the evolving cybersecurity attack landscape.Further, you will own and drive important security topics across all domains for our customers and work with various teams involved in implementation, delivery and operation of cloud services. You will participate in ongoing projects, initiatives, and Security and Compliance Office daily operations.The RoleInvestigate security events and incidentsProvide communication and escalation throughout the incident per the Triage guidelinesCommunicate directly with stakeholders during high severity eventsHunt for suspicious anomalous activity based on data alerts or data outputs from various toolsetsPerform analysis of log files, asset data and other threat and alert informationTake an active part in the containment of events of interest, even after they are escalatedHandle customer escalations around security end to endEnsure implementation and execution of security strategy and policyEvaluate and identify opportunities of potential information security and privacy improvements and drive projects in this areaWork closely with various stakeholders from many initiatives to understand needs, define requirements and translate these into security processesExperienceUniversity degree with focus on Cybersecurity or Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field5 years experience in Security Incident ResponseProven expertise in IT security, SAP Basis security, SIEM, Firewall, WAF, and other related technologiesKnowledge of data analysis techniquesKnowledge of networking and application communication protocols and SIEM technologies and how to utilize that data for traceability back to event sourceAbility to work well in a global distributed team as well as independently and have a positive self-motivated can-do attitudeExcellent analytical skills and focus on qualityStrong communication skills in EnglishProactive behavior, high willingness to learn and to drive projectsAbout The TeamSAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is delivering RISE with SAP with our customers. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 102,400 - 214,300 (CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
