Job Title: Jr Property Accountant Company: Homes by Avi (Canada) Inc. Overview Homes by Avi Group of Companies is seeking a friendly, outgoing, professional individual to join the Blue Jean Condominium and Property Management division as a Jr. Property Accountant. Candidate Profile Highly organized and exceptionally efficient. Positive, flexible, “can‑do” attitude. Analytical with ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Strong multitasking ability and prioritization skills. Self‑motivated and able to work independently. Excellent communicator in written and verbal correspondence. Responsibilities Manage full cycle accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank reconciliations for condominium corporations. Produce monthly financial statements for condominium boards. Enter operating budgets. Reconcile receivables and payables with the Property Management Team. Support external auditor requests, create and maintain working paper files for audit purposes. Deliver accurate and timely monthly financial and management reporting. Prepare supplementary reporting. Respond to financial questions from board members. Process and post high‑volume vendor invoices and owner charges, ensuring accurate coding and data entry. Process monthly condo fees and reconcile them to accounting records. Communicate with the Administrative department to update and process adjustments to AR ledgers. Assist with arrears and collection proceedings for aged receivables. Perform other related responsibilities as required. Qualifications Post‑secondary education in Accounting or Business. Experience in Procure‑to‑Pay is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additional Information Seniority level: Internship.
