Sr. Leasing Consultant

Hazelview Properties is hiring a Sales/Leasing professional to lead leasing activities and mentor a team, with a focus on delivering best-in-class customer service and achieving sales and occupancy targets.OverviewPosition: Sales/Leasing (Leasing consultant leadership exposure)ResponsibilitiesLead by example in a fast-paced leasing environment while mentoring the team to sharpen sales skills, set clear goals, and drive performance across a portfolio.Greet and qualify customers on phone, email, and in person; manage guest cards; show suites; apply product knowledge; process applications to final approved status.Coordinate with Operations to maintain 100% Rent Ready status and ensure model suites reflect the highest standards of presentation.Develop and execute leasing strategies across the portfolio; conduct quarterly market surveys, interpret data, and provide pricing and market insights to senior management.Perform mystery shop visits and stay informed about competitor offerings; gather and share demographic insights and customer feedback to support targeted advertising campaigns.Coordinate open-house programs and implement impactful marketing initiatives; maintain flexibility to perform core Leasing Consultant duties while supervising one or more team members.Education and ExperienceDegree/diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience focused in sales.Exposure to leasing and sales in a multi-residential or related industry is an asset.1–3 years of proven sales success; leadership experience preferred; coaching and mentoring skills required.Genuine desire to help prospects find a new home and to help others grow; takes initiative and suggests performance improvements; flexible to changing needs.Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Yardi is an asset.QualificationsCommitment to best-in-class customer service; high integrity, diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality.Active listening, independent judgment, and ability to work under tight timelines with strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and follow-up skills; strong communication abilities.Ability to speak other languages is an asset; a professional demeanor and inclusion-minded approach to the workplace.Champions diversity, equity, and inclusion to create an environment of belonging.EEO statement: Hazelview Property Services Inc. is an inclusive and equal opportunity employer.
