The organization is recognized for driving innovation in healthcare data integration and compliance, supporting CMS mandates such as Patient Access, Provider Access, and Prior Authorization. Role Overview The Senior Full‑Stack Developer will design, develop, and deploy production‑grade software components that power enterprise healthcare data platforms. They will collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Technical Account Managers to ensure each implementation meets compliance, quality, and client expectations while mentoring junior team members and driving engineering excellence. Key Responsibilities Develop backend services, adapters, and integrations using Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Camel for CMS mandates (Patient Access, Provider Access, P2P, Prior Auth). Deliver FHIR R4+/SMART on FHIR APIs aligned with US Core and other Implementation Guides, ensuring full terminology compliance (LOINC, SNOMED CT, RxNorm, ValueSets). Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with strong unit/integration coverage (JUnit, Testcontainers, MockMVC). Build and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, automate deployments with Helm/Kubernetes, and resolve service‑level performance issues. Integrate event‑driven pipelines using Kafka or equivalent messaging technologies and PostgreSQL/MS SQL databases. Participate in customer demos, technical sessions, and escalations, communicating complex technical concepts clearly. Mentor developers, review code, and champion best practices in design, maintainability, and DevOps automation. Track and report all project hours accurately in the integrated project management system; ensure alignment with delivery KPIs and billable targets. What You Bring 8+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in Java/Spring Boot. Proven hands‑on experience delivering FHIR/SMART on FHIR integrations in production. Strong knowledge of US Core, FHIR IGs, and healthcare terminologies (LOINC, SNOMED CT, RxNorm, ValueSets). Experience in professional services or healthcare technology environments. Hands‑on expertise in GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes/Helm, Kafka, and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MS SQL). Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients and cross‑functional teams. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and accountable for delivery quality. Preferred Experience Experience with HAPI FHIR framework. Exposure to HL7 v2, CDA, or legacy FHIR integration standards. Familiarity with CMS interoperability mandates (Patient Access, Provider Access, P2P, PA). Experience authoring FHIR Implementation Guides or using Inferno for validation/testing.
