Vice President, Commercial Financial Services As the Vice President, Commercial Financial Services – Diversified Industries, you inspire, motivate, and engage your sales team to deliver a highly differentiated client experience, enhance client loyalty, and grow revenue by acquiring new clients and deepening existing client relationships. You will focus on coaching your team to high standards of behaviours, activities, and results while collaborating with RBC colleagues across the organization to help maintain RBC’s dominant market position. Responsibilities Provide leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching to the Relationship Manager team, building employee engagement through focused sales routines. Lead and advocate change within the organization by building engagement and inspiring your team to achieve desired business outcomes. Demonstrate market leadership by promoting the RBC brand and enhancing visibility through networking in the business community and working closely with industry leaders, community groups, and RBC partners. Manage the business to achieve market and sales objectives, balancing operational and credit risk requirements. Leverage full RBC capabilities, including branches, alternate delivery channels, and service partners, to achieve RBC’s business goals. Employ digital channels, drive client awareness, and ensure your team enables clients with RBC digital access. Qualifications – Must Have Minimum 5–7 years of commercial banking experience preferred. Proven track record in leading and coaching professional sales teams to high performance standards. Ability to foster continuous learning, including professional development of team members and personal growth as a leader. Strong business acumen with deep knowledge of the financial industry and commercial banking. Strong knowledge of credit management, product and pricing policies, privacy, code of conduct, anti‑money laundering requirements, and overall business centre operations. Strong sales orientation and a demonstrated passion for putting clients first. Experience with emerging communications and technology (e.g., web‑based meetings, social media, digital banking, mobile applications). Qualifications – Nice to Have Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a geographically diverse and mobile team. Proven leadership, sales management, and performance management skills. Strong communication and presentation skills. A post‑secondary diploma/degree, ideally in Commerce, Business Administration, MBA, or related field. What’s in it for you?
