Overview As an Account Manager, you will be working as part of an account team in a fast-paced hybrid agency environment to develop and deliver strategic, creative client programming and best-in-class client service. Your job is to tell the client’s story, with a focus on executing award-winning programs and deepening client relationships. An essential part of your success is the ability to partner and collaborate with a number of internal and external stakeholders, including integrated agency partners. We’re looking for a passionate team player who is a communications pro and has a strong passion for gaming, entertainment and consumer technology – this is a unique role for the right individual who is a gamer. Responsibilities Working as part of an account team on a leading gaming client, you will be developing and executing PR communications programming, including media relations strategy and content creator engagement The position requires a passion for, and expert knowledge of the gaming and consumer technology sector You will possess a strong network of media and content creators across gaming and consumer technology Excellent writing, storytelling and presentation skills Strategic thinking capabilities to support the development of innovative campaigns; a creative thinker Strong client management and leadership skills; ability to manage up and down and handle challenging situations Ability to work and manage integrated programs with other agency partners Providing timely feedback to management on progress against goals Establishing and managing project budgets Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Ongoing tracking and knowledge of industry & brand best practices Contributing to the North inclusive culture as a coach and mentor to team members Qualifications Our ideal candidate will also possess the following: A bachelor’s degree and/or post-graduate diploma in Public Relations, Corporate Communications or related discipline 5-8years’ experience in an agency environment or corporate role with a focus on media relations and influencer relations in the gaming or consumer technology sector Strong media, influencer and content creator relationships across business, retail and consumer lifestyle A strong passion for and experience in the Gaming Sector is considered an asset Excellent communication skills, dynamic, team player, excellent time management and organizational skills and is detail-oriented Additional information Why North Strategic?
