You will be primarily responsible for full-cycle recruitment, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires and managing employee relations and investigations. The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture. ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle recruitment sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring top talentCollaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop job postingsCoordinate and facilitate interview processes, offers, and pre-employment checksMaintain ATS and recruitment metrics for reporting and improvementDevelop and manage onboarding programs that help new hires integrate successfullyPrepare onboarding materials, schedule orientation sessions, and coordinate with IT and relevant departmentsEnsure compliance with company policies and legal requirements during onboardingServe as a resource for employees regarding HR policies and proceduresConduct and document investigations into workplace concerns and complaintsPartner with leadership to ensure fair and consistent application of policiesProvide recommendations and follow-up on resolutionsServe as payroll back-up as per business needsDemonstrated knowledge of cannabis sector is an asset QualificationsRetail industry experience as an HR generalist is preferredDegree in business administration, human resources management, or a related fieldMBA/CPHR/SHRM - CPHR requiredMinimum 5+ years of progressive HR management experienceExcellent communication and coaching skillsStrong knowledge of employment standards and applicable legislation across CanadaPublic company experience is a plusStrong HR process skills in investigations, employee relations, and cross-functional alignmentEffective written and verbal communication; strong presentation skillsExperience with HRIS and applicant tracking systemsAdvanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Sound foundation in employment law and HR best practicesExperience in the cannabis sector is an assetStrong investigative training or experience Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits packageSupportive and collaborative work environment Why join High Tide Inc.We are building, growing, and driven to growPositioned to be a globally recognized brand in our industrySignificant opportunity for growth and influence at all levelsKnowledge sharing and teamwork across the organization Does this sound like an opportunity you have been waiting for?
