Apprentice - Level 3 in Engineering and Manufacturing

This role is responsible for the implementation of the product design in manufacturing in the most efficient way. Manufacturing Engineers are a standard member of core teams, bringing their knowledge and expertise in early stages of development and design to meet our customer's needs.
So, what will you be doing as a Manufacturing Engineer?
- Ensure continuous improvement of current processes to meet manufacturing targets and exceed them.
- Responsible for supporting and delivering new manufacturing technologies to improve competitiveness and project profitability.
- Ensure ECR & MCR are followed up and implemented as projected.
- Responsible for the development and the release of all manufacturing documents (PFMEA, Process Flow charts, Work Instructions, Control plans, Feasibility studies).
- Responsible for the development & installation of the needed manufacturing and packaging equipment and packaging proposal (Expendable and returnable) to meet project goals.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Bachelor of science degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or Mechatronic engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in Manufacturing, Automotive field preferred.
- Injection mold process experience is an asset.
- “Fanuc” robot programming/troubleshooting is an asset.
- Allen Bradley PLC/HMI programming is an asset.
- Electrical control system design and application.
