Permanent associates enjoy: Free tax preparation service; discounts for families and friends Stock purchase plan Health/fitness reimbursement program Employer‑matching Registered Retirement Savings Plan The Opportunity (Remote) Reporting to the Lead, Support Centre, the Support Agent (Revenue Quebec) will primarily focus on addressing and resolving escalated French/Quebec client tax issues. This includes in‑depth troubleshooting of our digital tax software, assisting retail clients requiring office support, performing client callbacks to gather information, delivering Audit Protection reviews, and escalating issues to specialized departments for further analysis. Key Areas of Responsibility Interact, validate, troubleshoot, resolve, and/or escale client tax cases when clients reach out for assistance. Address both CRA and RQ tax concerns across all lines of business. Engage through chat, social media, and client callbacks as necessary. Identify and flag escalated cases with potential impacts to H&R Block. Work with Call Centre support groups to manage and trend escalations. Attend meetings, provide key information to stakeholders. Provide follow‑through and closed‑loop feedback on resolved cases. Assist with continual service improvement initiatives, including documentation/knowledge base, processes/procedures, and training material. Remain current on all H&R Block products and services managed by the Support Centre. Key Qualifications Fluent in both French and English (verbal and written). Knowledge/experience in Canadian Revenue Agency and Revenue Quebec tax returns. H&R Block Tax Academy trained – asset. Solid understanding of Microsoft products and ITSM ticketing tools. Strong communication, both verbal and written. Effective time‑management and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively under strict guidelines. Detail‑oriented, organized, and highly analytical. Demonstrated problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills. Ability to work independently and/or within a support team environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Availability for flexible hours.
